Nena & Pasadena is the collective visions of AFL stars Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin and Josh Gibson from the Hawthorn Football Club. Both Josh and Buddy are well known for their skills and ability on the field and are regarded as two of the biggest names in Football.
Josh and Buddy have always had a passion for fashion and were keen to develop and launch their own street wear brand. With their strong network of fans and followers, they felt that if executed well Nena &
Pasadena tees would be very well received.
Blackbyrd is an Australian label, servicing the world. Based in Melbourne, it was launched online in 2007 by AFL’s Nathan Brown. Blackbyrd’s promise is to never sell anything that we wouldn’t wear ourselves. We design products that are personal, rare and quality in every way.
Blackbyrd does limited runs of each tee, so once they are gone, that’s it, no repeats. This way you can be confident that when you’re out and about, doing what you do, you won’t look like the joker next to you.
The OBEY campaign can be explained as an experiment in Phenomenology. The first aim is to reawaken a sense of wonder about one’s environment.
The OBEY campaign attempts to stimulate curiosity and bring people to question both the campaign and their relationship with their surroundings.
Freshjive was conceived in 1989 by Rick Klotz and friends. It was created to represent their
influences, which centered around skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, music, nightlife, and all around Los Angeles inner city lifestyle. At the time of conception, there was no such thing as street wear brands fusing all these cultural influences. Rick and friends were heavily into skateboarding and surfing, but felt that surf/skate brands did not represent their L.A inner city life lifestyle that revolved around the music and club scene.
Superdry is a world famous boutique fashion label that is synonymous with cool and can be spotted on celebrities from Jude Law to David Beckham.
Deft is an English adjective meaning dexterous of hand (skillful), and inventive of mind.

The designers of Deft focus on leadership, determination, confidence, and being the best you can possibly be.
