The OBEY campaign can be explained as an experiment in Phenomenology. The first aim is to reawaken a sense of wonder about one’s environment.

Blackbyrd is an Australian label, servicing the world. Based in Melbourne, it was launched online in 2007 by AFL’s Nathan Brown. Blackbyrd’s promise is to never sell anything that we wouldn’t wear ourselves. We design products that are personal, rare and quality in every way.

Born in 2004 & based in London, Amplified has evolved into one of the hottest street-wear labels in Europe. Calling on inspiration from different trends the brand has many very distinct looks from the cheeky and colourful Pin Up’s range to the dark and edgy and very fashion based Dark Souls range.
Nena & Pasadena is the collective visions of AFL stars Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin and Josh Gibson from the Hawthorn Football Club. Both Josh and Buddy are well known for their skills and ability on the field and are regarded as two of the biggest names in Football.
Josh and Buddy have always had a passion for fashion and were keen to develop and launch their own street wear brand. With their strong network of fans and followers, they felt that if executed well Nena &
Pasadena tees would be very well received.
Freshjive was conceived in 1989 by Rick Klotz and friends. It was created to represent their
influences, which centered around skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, music, nightlife, and all around Los Angeles inner city lifestyle. At the time of conception, there was no such thing as street wear brands fusing all these cultural influences. Rick and friends were heavily into skateboarding and surfing, but felt that surf/skate brands did not represent their L.A inner city life lifestyle that revolved around the music and club scene.

Deus Ex Machina
Deus Ex Machina tees (God from the Machine) roared into Australias cultural consciousness in 2006, with some neatly customised motorcycles and a quaint notion that doing something is more fun than just owning something. From this notion Deus tees were born.

Their philosophy recalls an era before the various pursuits of fun - motorcylces, surfing, cycling, whatever - split into exclusive, fundamentalist factions.
