With humble beginnings in the back blocks of Kuta, Bali, year 2000, Australian artist David Eagles launched 3rdborn. At the time Eagles had spent 9 years designing for international surf wear giant, Quiksilver. Frustrated with the direction the surf industry was taking, Eagles started designing various garments under the label 3rdborn. The brand had immediate successes in Bali and orders began flowing from all corners of the globe, Levis Australia, Mooks , Mone11 and various independent stores, including 100 in the USA. 3rdborn’s inspiration is drawn from living a life in South East Asia with frequent visits back home to Australia. Eagles continues to paint and sell his original artworks, using this as the catalyst to fuel the brand. Currently 3rdborn boasts 2 flag ship stores in Bali and its own vertical production capabilities. The label continues to grow in reputation with increasing market awareness in Tokyo, Bali and Australia.
